Leopardstown Racecourse says Classic Trials Day opens its Flat season, and the 2027 meeting is on Sunday 4 April. The card is where future Group 1 and Classic contenders are often first seen.
The racecourse lists the P.W. McGrath Ballysax Stakes as an established Derby trial, and points to Delacroix, a recent winner who later took the Eclipse and the Juddmonte International.
